The Komoka Railway Museum has a raised “Live Steam” railway in the back.
This railway supports both 3½” and 4¾” gauge rails (Gauge represents the distance between the inside edges of a pair of rails). The total track length is 500 feet (150 meters long). The track was originally constructed by the Bluewater Model Engineering Society.
In the summer months, live steam trains are operated. See the current 2018 schedule.
It is available for birthday parties, family re-unions etc by arrangement through the museum. There is no charge but donations are gratefully accepted.
